REGRESSION TESTING

Domeneo's regression testing team is employed to examine a modified application for its functioning.
Our Regression Testing suite ensure that the new features or improvements to the application do not cause any unintended impact to the existing quality of the applications.
Changes to the application can happen in the form of bug fixes, new functionality, functionality enhancements, integrations, patches, interfaces etc.

At Domeneo, we have organized testing approach with powerful regression testing procedures and an assemblage of testing techniques, which enables us to discover defects at the start of testing cycle and accomplish maximum test coverage.
Before a new version of a software product is released, the old test cases are run against the new version to ensure that all old capabilities still work.

Regression testing ensures that small changes don't break software. Good regression testers need to know what they're looking for.
Every little change made throughout the software development has the potential to break the whole system. Regression testing ensures that this doesn't happen.

Regression testing is type of software testing which main role is to search for new bugs in existing functional areas of a system after changes have been made to them.
Once the regression testing is cleared, functionality testing of the build starts.

Regression testing is performed when any of the following situation happens during software development lifecycle:
  • A bug is fixed.
  • A change in requirements is implemented.
  • A new business rule, feature or functionality is implemented.
  • A new module, component or subsystem is developed and integrated to the existing modules or system.
